LOL How did I order the wrong one?

You forgetting that reef leds is giving you a bigger heatsink a 24in X 8.5 inch wide If you want to go with the the 3 heatsinks 5.9.9 it will cost $500 with 20g wire if your going to do a price comparison us the same equipment there using . And i just priced out the 48led kit with dimmable driver and it $537 without heatsink with heat sinks its $570 so reef Leds lighting is much cheaper

I have 2 LED fixtures over my 120 and while they are great directly under the lights once you get to the edges of the tank it's dark. It's this reason I went with the modular over the big heat sink, remember the kit I just bought was a 36 not 48 (doing a 40B), but in keeping with the 48 LED example the 24 x 8.5 heat sink would give the same look. Using the 4 5.9 x 9 I get a wider lighting foot print, especially higher up, with a 12 x 18 vs 8.5 x 24.

Cost wise it's still $554 (Rapid) to $537 (Reef)

i have bought 50 3 w cool white led's and 50 blue 3 w led's, 140 pcs 40 deg optics with case 75 white and 75 black. and 10 led drivers. each driver will control 15 bulbs but i got extras just in case. every thing with shipping cost me 303.00 these products are coming from hong kong. and i have done one project for my 30 gal tank with 20 3 w bulbs and 5 10 w led bulbs and trust me thats is doing great. prices in usa are just rip off. led's are not expensive at all. since every one know its getting so popular in reef system. every one wants to charge 6 to 8 dollars per led. if you i were to buy every thing here i have to sell my rock, tank, fishes, tank, stand everything just to make this project happend. here is e mail for sales girl that i was talking to and i paid with paypal and you know its safe . Link? Would love to see LEDs with the specs as CREE for cheap but this screams to good to be true and wouldn't expect them to last over 2 years before failure.

what driver are you using for the 10w leds? I was thinking of going with all 5w but don't know how to choose a driver.
