My other issue is that i currently have 3 koralias not in the water because the readings start going up. I dont think itll go up past 1.0 with all in there. LoL. But since i didnt know i pulled them quickly. So should i put them back in?

1v is nothing. And u run 3 and it only goes to 1 mean while those pumps r connected to a 120v source.
Put your meter away....lol

I took those 120v to the mouth the other day. Hanging an ati powermodule. The hanging wire are metalic and long. So one of them ran all the way down to the floor and slid behing the 6 outlet gfci box. It didnt make contact till i leaned into the tank trying to remove a snail from the outlet of my hob fuge. With arm in water i leaned forward.... forward.... forward.... till i now had my mouth touching the ati powermodule (made of metal). The more i reached the more i tilted the powermodule which pulled on the hang cable eventually making a connection.

After the shock i found myself on the floor holding my mouth wondering what exploded and hit me in the face so fast i didnt see it. I felt the jolt all the way in the back of my head. Was on the floor looking for blood and couldnt find it. LoL

That was some final destination type kill there. I spent the rest of the night looking for electricity in my tank which brought me to this thread. It was the next day that i spotted the hang kit wire and where it had fallen too.

Hey guys sorry to bother with this but i still have a prob. It only reads 0.2 as before. But i feel a tingle when my hand is in water and i touch metal. Even though the ground probe is in the water.

When i have hand in water and touch metal with fresh skin (healing wound) the tingle is felt much stronger.

Its hard to determine which pump or heater is doing it because it doesnt seem tohappen all the time.

take the probe put the black probe on the metal you are touching and put the red in the water and see what you get i had a wavepoint libht that was giving me 57 volts from the fixture to the water i grounded the metal and it went away

I get 0 when ground probe is out of water. 0.2 when probe is in.

I also dont notice a tingle when probe is out.

But when probe is in if i put my hand in the water and tap on metal eventually i get a small shock.

What are you connecting to to get the 0.2?

What's the reading with the ground probe in, red lead In the water and black lead in the bottom round hole of an outlet?

the outlet you have the ground probe in may not be grounded properly the center screw that holds the cover plate in place is a ground try that if u still get shocked try different outlet

When i take ground probe out of water i get 0.8

This is all on acv 200 and black in com and red in v ma. (middle).

Ok, the 0 with probe in is good. Now what were u connecting to to get the 0.2?

Nothing. Just touching red to water and black to metal. 0.2. With probe in. With probe out, 0.0. With probe in i get a tingle. With it out i dont. Atleast i dont think so. :0)

What metal are u talking about?

Try red to the metal and black to round hole on outlet.

take the probe out of water than unplug one thing at a time test after u unpug each thing

Its metalic wire from hanging lit of radion lights. Same one that almost shocked my head off when the other end fell into an outlet. :0)

I did. Metalic wire. From radion hanging KIT.
