Well if you guys want to prank call someone. I have a number that you could actually have fun with. It is from a scammer trying to get CC info. I call him once in a while to just have some fun. He finally curses me out and hangs up on me.

But honestly it has been said before to NEVER post your info in a thread!! You guys have to realize that it is not just visible on the forum! It is visible to anyone with Google! Give it a shot, find a phone number that was posted in a thread and see if you can Google it.

This is why I have a Google Voice number that goes to my cell phone. I can call from it and also text from it. No offense to anyone here, but that is the information that I give to people, unless I get to know you, then I give my real number. But even then it really does not matter, since you would not know the difference.

Google Voice numbers are free and you can text from your computer with them also. Comes with VoiceMail also. I got them for my kids already so that I have them for the future.

Asking me for something I have up for sale at the market place n asking if he can land his helicopter on my room SMh man

Much agreed. Overall, I have had great experiences with people regarding selling and buying. I have been the consumer more often than the seller. I have only one poor experience, and have since blocked the person's number.
Google Voice is the primary number I use for any use outside of personal.

It's also good when dealing with stores that want you ph#. I can't stand telemarketers and such. They're just as bad as prank callers.

Thats what I was getting at, if someone has no life at all and thats how they get their kicks, so be it. About 4 or 5 years ago my info along with a bunch of other FDNY 9/11 responders info got leaked out to an unknown number of sources, phone numbers, adresses, beneficiaries and so on.

I'm really not worried about my cell number on here. Maybe people don't feel how I do and thats fine but I'm ok with it.

so many people these days do not have a land line and only a cell phone. I personally never get phone calls on the home line. If it were up to me I would cancel the line. But wife wants it. So if my cell phone rings in middle of the night I actually answer it.

The only phone calls I get at home are bill collectors lol.

In other words I only answer the cell, my landline handset hasnt been used in over a year, heck I don't even know where it is.

What people are missing is that these people are probably not from MR. The people that were called I bet put there phone number into an open post.

People who have nothing better to do will just google to find phone numbers. Or there are spider searcher that will just crawl forums and grab numbers that are formatted like phone numbers.

The lesson is no phone numbers in open posts. Even if they are cell numbers. Do you really want to get into spam txt messages now too?
