ok i wasnt going to say anything considering i think of myself as a perfectionist when it comes to my tank but i had the unthinkable happen. I have got the dreaded AEFW so my colors are not the best as of now. Im not pulling myself out of the competion because i have 5 months to get them out of my tank which im doing now with new wrasses, basting i have started zeos flatworm stop and on saturday or sunday im removing all acros and dipping them in Bayer but i have to put them back in my DT and hopefully the zeo flatstop can handle the rest. i will still take pics because as of right now the worms have done little damage to the corals in the competition and im being hopeful but my colors have taken a hit.Im estimating my outbreak was between NERAC and 2 weeks ago. Im not taking any drastic steps until im convinced that the zeo flatstop isnt working which will be in 3 months. if by then i see no change i am going to have to be forced to be eliminated from this fun
If your dead set against tossing them. Set up a qt tank and get all the acros out of your dt. Then You can treat and baste in the qt.
That way u can easily dip too. This could prevent a future breakdown of your dt

Yes that could work although the problem becomes when you have acros encrusted on rockwork that you cant get out

It has lost most the brown and is coloring up nicely. Pics dont show it. Bottom coral has some bluish polyps im not sure if thats what its supposed to look like and is starting to polyp all over the base. The one on top has lost alot of the brown and is turning a pinkish color but havent noticed alot of PE has grown quite a bit. I cant get good pics. I have seen others having problems taking pics under LEDs as well. When contest is over im going to get someone to take good pics.

Get them out and into a qt and start dipping with Bayer. Run the zeo flatworm stop in a qt.

No whatever happens happens. Flatworm stop is supposed to be a in tank treatment and thats what im going to try. Im not going to hurt myself tearing apart my tank because of these pests. Talked to a bunch of people and they all have nice tanks and living with AEFW. Im being hopeful that zeo got this right. I had spinal surgery and this is the last of my worries right now
Who do you know that is living with them? Not busting balls
