Hey MR

I have my hob overflow on the left size of my tank. My hob reef octopus skimmer is on the Right Should I put this wp25 on the left or ride side of my 4' tank?

It's a 55 gallon. How far down on the side glass should I go?

Can I take out the 2 hydor 750's? Thanks, if possible please let me know as soon as possible I'd like to do it now. Thanks again.

I took them out. I had 2 hydors 1 on each side then I had 2 aqueon 250's in the tank as well. 1 was on the left side lower back wall facing the middle front, and the other was on the same wall as the hydor on the right side blowing parallel to the back wall. This pump is awesome though. On the other side I have a bubble which looked like it was going to get ripped off and my duncan coral looks like it was getting way too much flow it was like it had his head sticking out the window going 100mph. I'm running the 2 120W dimmable e-bay LEDs so right now only the blues are on so with the little tiny sensor in, it automatically goes on to s1. My lamp is on and the TV is on too, and it's nice calm flow. Do you really think the sensor will become damaged? I like this feature.

I turned the whites on just like it was an hour ago, and the sensor recognizes them. I guess when I bent down to look (i attached the unit to the side of my stand that the pump is on) and the light was flickering on and off every time I leaned over. Probably getting in the way of the sensor or something. Overall A+ product however, my duncan is "throwing up" agitated from too much flow I assume? Help if needed...

I'm running it on Else mode.

The closer to the surface you put it, the greater wave will be created while the flow of the bottom will be lower. Two issues may arise when putting it too high: 1) air will suck in 2)it split water out of your tank or make your overflow work less predictable. So try and error is the first option here.

Thanks for the advice. I ended up placing the pump halfway down on the same side as my overflow is. This pushes all the water towards the skimmer on the other side, where the return happens to be as well. Everything seems okay, except the fact that my bubble and duncan seemed aggravated when I was playing through all the settings. I ended up keeping it on Else mode, right now it's on s3 because the light sensor kicked in. Hope over the next couple of days everything seems okay and I can modify the settings/placement as needed.

Just upgraded to a 75, placement is still in the same spot- seems to be ok still. Really want to put it on else mode but still seems too strong. My torch & bubble (middle of tank on sandbed in between the two rock islands) still dont like it. How's everyone else's doing?
