What is the best sand to buy...

I like a mix of reef grade mixed with crushed coral. You can crank the flow and it doesn't move around much.

+1 I am using this mix at Rich's recommendation and I am able to run 3 rw8's in a 65 gallon tank without disturbing the sand bed.

I believe my mixture is 1 to 1 equal parts. Not sure exactly what Rich's mix is.

Fiji pink, Ocean Direct Reef Sand and Special grade reef sand.

You can buy it already mixed its called CaribSea Super Grade.

But i would recommend crushed coral instead It doesn't hold as much bad bacteria and is much easier to deal with.
