Well if that statement that Chris brought up is true, then that's totally out of line. And furthermore, it needs to be looked at!

Again the new thread suggestion is specifically to discuss these issues. This thread was originally between Michael and Slama. As you can see it has branched out. Just my opinion.

Vendor=business
Vendors make their own policies.. no one shoul have the right to it make it for them.
Customers should research and ask about the policies.
Mr gets paid from the vendors.
Those adds above you see are paid Ads.
Should mr set their policies too?
Should the Dr advertising here have MR make their policy too?

Maybe you mis read me Shaun, I think they should be allowed to post all over the market place. If someone is looking to buy something, they should be able to scoop it up if they want to.
I'm really not a big RC guy, so I don't care either way with them.
This isn't about RC. It's MR.

There are vendor rules that all vendors agree to before becoming a vendor here.

I did not want to reopen this thread, but there is something that must be cleared up.

A member recently made a claim that one of the moderators deleted their posts to eliminate negative information about their commercial business (said member made a very obnoxious remark about the vendor in the middle of a heated conversation).

This is absolutely and completely false. The messages were deleted for entirely different reasons and the moderator in question had absolutely nothing to do with the incident. We have reviewed the logs and there should not be any doubt about what occurred (someone essentially tried to throw a match into a gas tank). If the member had bothered to ask a moderator why the posts were deleted, it could have easily been explained.

We take the fairness of this community very seriously. Anyone that has been here for a while knows that we have established rules for creating a level playing field for hobbyists and vendors alike. Making claims that a moderator would abuse their permissions to stifle the voice of a member is an insult to these efforts and the work that everyone here has done to prevent these sorts of things from happening.
