Do people enjoy having the topic of discussion repeated at the top of every page for this particular forum?

At first I was confused. I thought the pages were not turning I like having the topic of the thread, but the whole post throws me off...of course my computer finds me very UNuser friendly so I am not the best person to comment!

how about this, if people have specific ideas they want to cover they pm them to the person in charge of the chapter. then the chapter mod can summarize everyones thoughts in the first post and we can take it from there. ideas?

I think this is a good idea if the chapter leader needs some ideas. Overall, people should bring up their questions and ideas in the chapter thread even if the chapter leader hasn't brought it up. The idea of a chapter leader should really be more about providing structure by being in charge of getting the ball rolling and starting his or her chapter on the correct week so that we are all discussing the same chapter at once.

Before we get started...

I was realizing that there may be times when individuals or the entire group disagree with whatever book we are reading. Let's remember that authors are people too and treat them as we would any other MR member. Definitely call it like you see it, but do it with respect
