Hey Guys, long time no see!!!
I have only ordered stuff on-line through Champion lighting. They made a small mistake on a lighting order that was no big deal. I ordered some halides and upgraded to a 10k bulb. They sent the lights as they would come "stock" and added a 10k to the order. Simple mistake which they resolved rather quickly. They answered my e-mails the next morning and sent the bulb out the same day. They were also the best deal I could find on halides at the time. I would give them an 8.
A new clam dealer that I have dealt with is ClamsDirect.com. I know the guy that started the business and dealt with him before he got the site up. He has always been more than fair with me and his prices have been better than I can get anywhere. I am able to pick things up from his location but have talked to him about his shipping and he stands behind what he sells. I think you will be happy with the clams too. I will post some pics of mine soon...he gets a 10 in my book. Oh yeah, he also kept a clam for me for a couple days till I was able to come by and get it too which I don't know many people that would do...Thanks Barry.

Inland Aquatics 9- very knowledgeable, dependible
Premium Aquatics 10- Never had a problem with them threw out the 7 years of reefing....

I've ordered well over $5,000 worth of equipment and livestock from Flying Fish Express and every time I do business with them, they exceed my expectations in terms of quality, timliness and customer service, as well as excellent prices. I sound like a commercial for them, but I have to admit they are awesome.. I'm not used to such great service so I'm compelled to call attention to their great business. I cannot recommend these folks highly enough.
I have also ordered from IPSF. They seemed very cool as well but FFExpress has been so great to me, they pale in comparison even though they had great service too. My big beef with IPSF has been their goofy web site and how the inventory/availability changes.

I recently ordered 100 lbs. of live rock from Harbor Aquatics. It was the first time for me ordering from this supplier, but I liked the web site info. and it got good ratings from others.
After using their service, I have to concur totally, and give their service and product a 10.

I placed a $350+ order with them covering snails, corals, clams, powerheads, all kinds of goodies.
Supposed to get sun coral (tubastrea), got something shaped like them but a dookey-brown color instead of the yellow-and-red sun coral I was expecting.
1/3 of the margarita snails were dead or didn't make it soon after.
They sent me 2 feather dusters attached, facing the opposite direction... making it impossible to mount them where my sailfin tang wouldn't get at least 1. So 1 got munched.
I called and told them what was up, absolutely no problems or hassles. They forgot to send my powerheads, so they did so overnight.
I like their service. They need tank raised fish, but do have some aquacultured corals and clams.
I'd give 'em a 9 ( -3 for screwing up a little, +2 for making it up to me immediately).

I ordered 45 lbs. of "semi-cured" Fiji rock for $179. Beautiful stuff, sized according to my wishes, and it took less than a week to fully cure and cycle!
Nice service as well. I requested a couple of shipping upgrades, and they called me at home to make sure I was aware of the additional cost.

I tried to submit it JDM, but I was ignored.
Nevertheless, I tried to order from two suppliers. A reflector from HelloLights, and an Ice Cap timer from Champion Lighting. (They didn't have any timers at Hello Lights, and I needed one by Memorial Day weekend)
I'm going to give them both a 9. I had to modify the reflector I got from HelloLights. (Not really their fault, but their reflectors didn't fit my acrylic flourescent base) Champion Lighting only gets knocked down because I couldn't find out what my shipping charge was until I actually ordered. Otherwise, the service was fast and the product is great.

saltwaterfish 0-0-0 i tried to order online, it would not let it go through. so i called them no answer. so i asked what was the problem on their bb and got no answers! i won an auction on their site and it took them over a week and about ten emails for them to call me and get the cc#. then i answered a post about live stock and stated i could not get through to them and that i ordered from reeftopia and got it the next morning at 10am. and they through me off the bb. very trustworthy people!!!!!
oh. and they never sent me the refugium i won.
