Just wondering what kind of experience the sump has.

there have been at least a few 'how long' threads posted topside

why not leave this one in the sump, where the original poster directed the question to?

Hey lookie! We're topside! the light is a tad bright though.
oooh pretty colors!! Look! FISHES!!

Well, since were in the General Reef Discussion, I must then ask a GDR question.

Dear Topside:
I have a 90g FOWLR tank. It's your usual pred tank, with a lionfish, eels, blah blah. Water changes are done on a regular basis, as with all my previous freshwater pred tanks. Water quality is never an issue with me.
I recently brought a baby koran angelfish home from work (no one would buy him, he's too little) and I want to grow him out until he is large enough to go into the pred tank. Right now he is in a 10 gallon q-tank. If I transfer him into my reef tank, (he is LITTLE, around an inch and a half long) I am somewhat afraid that my glass anemone will eat him....) how long will it take for him to grow large enough to be transferred in with my lionfish, Mufasa? He is around 6 inches long and eats mollies...
Is this a realistic goal? Or should I just set the koran up his own tank? I have an empty 65 g right now, which seems a tad large for a 1.5 inch angelfish. Plus, I need a bigger house.
What Should I Do...
:D

Yeah, it's shocking. Kind of like coming out of a movie theatre in the middle of the day after sitting in the dark for 2 hours.
We need a "it starts in the sump, it stays in the sump" rule. :P

Jim

That's why I start these "serious" threads in the sump....I won't get sumpers to answer in the light. :P

The question was not how long have you been getting some.

Wow!!!  Actually, if that had been the question, my answer would have been much longer! :P
