maybe you missed what i mentioned earlier... maybe you don't think it is feasible.. i don;t know but i am throwing at you again...

three huge redlegged hermits could make for many dead smaller hermits within a 20 gal tank in very short order.
if there is nothing for them to eat they will eat one another even faster than they normally do.

Yup, I hear ya there brother. I dropped a crap load of blue legs and 15 redlegs into my tank. Man talk about D-Day. I think I'll stick to snails :D

Red Sea is the best I can do where I live. There is not even a lfs in my town...I have to travel to another town to even buy a fish! I'll use up the Red Sea, then try to find something else somewhere else. At least the Red Sea eased my mind and with the anemone showing back up, that is a good sign...and it ate well. The new light just might let me keep it.

I do like Salifert...I've only had one that I got after a 3-hour drive to Chattanooga, TN. I'm not able to get that far for now...but biowheel comes off today....and I'm going on an hour trip to hunt a clownfish (or two), a coral, and hopefully a feather duster or large shrimp. I don't want to put anything too small with the damsel. He's lived there 5 years...my guess is he thinks the whole tank is HIS!

Thanks again to everyone....if anyone has more ideas or comments, throw them my way :D

I mail order quite frequently...but considering we also have poor internet service in my area, waiting on dial-up is not fun! I also use Ebay frequently and order many drygoods...but since I needed a test kit immediately, I grabbed one up. Will get a better one when the $50 kit runs out. Besides...I don't like snail mail.

Thanks again :D

Update on the filter...it is not a biowheel after all. I have inspected it finally and it is a Regent impeller driven filter that holds two media cartridges, usually containing carbon....so, it more like an overflow box that services only one tank.

I'm adding a couple of percula clowns today...we'll see how they do.
