oh boy. do I. Well, lets start where I left off. I got a Imperator Angle. I know I know, not soo reef friendly, I could not resist it. well at least my SPS are safe. My LPS are in question. I might cheap LPS from the store I work at to keep his mind off of anything that I prize. . well he cought a fungus! so I treated the him in the tank with Pima and Mela Fix. Well, it sucked. The fungus went away in two weeks, but I had to run my tank without my skimmer for about oh say 3 weeks. The medication foams the water really bad. I had to do a 60 gallon water change in the course of 2 weeks. To get the skimmer back in. . so another thing went wrong. couple of corals RTNed in the first few weeks of treament. . lesson learned. let the fish fight it or die off. its not worth having my whole tank screwed up for one fish. . so I am back on track. 100 gallons later. but my BM 200 skimmer rocks. started running rowa. phosphates are near 0.008 ppm according to deltec's low range phosphate kit. put a couple of corals in. a three new clams. (2 baby maximas, and a 4 inch squmosa) all of which are doing great. restacked my rocks on the left side. those rocks were really erking my nerves. there was something about them I did not like. so I took some out and put a new one in. . and oh yeah, I was messing around with sugar (carbon dosing for bacterial colonies) and I was putting alot in. I knew I was, but I am very curious. well, when i dosed my tank with those medications, BOOM, all of the bacterial died off. I had so mich, it was growing off the rocks. I really had alot. that set me back too. . so all my colors are coming back and my stuff is growing, I will take some pictures in a little while. when I have time...argh. 19 credit hours in school sucks up your life. my enter key is broken, so dont mind those periods inbetween paragraphs. try it. its fun.

Sorry to hear most of the the news including the keyboard. But it's good to know that it's getting back to normal. Do post pictures when you can. Good luck!

Looking good.. OF course, the first pretty lil coral you posted is one that RTN'd on me recently. I must get another one now. Darned you.

I really have no idea what that coral is. I bought it brown because it also RTN'd at the store I work at. It kind of set around in the tanks as a forgotten coral and I bought it because it showed alot of potential. Do you know the species name? In the middle of the day, it is realllly fluffy.

Sure dont. Gotta love those browned out dicsount corals after they color up.

I am babysitting a coral for a friend right now that he bought "chocolate brown" and loved it. It started paling and he felt it was bleaching. As soon as I put it into my tank it turned hot pink with yellow tips. I cant wait until it grows up big.
