Don't loose your sense of humor!

Don't let a few people try to attack you and intimidate you either.

They act like getting a permit for protected corals is not a big deal, and then getting that permit pulled and a formal letter from the Sanctuary demanding that the corals be returned is not a big deal either.

That is a very big deal and a slap in the face.

Just because a few people have decided to take this road, does not mean that most people reading this do not get it.

Chuck - if you're now actually referring people to stuff written in the Reef Monkey off-topic forum called "The Cage"... um, well... I think that about says it all regarding the quality of your informational sources.


And with that, I'M DONE answering questions about me and/or my "motives." Seriously, not a one more. From now on, I'm only addressing questions and comments that have to do with the project, the documents or other relevant issues to this topic (assuming I can answer them).

Well, now that we can get to actual information, I would like to know what you find out. Not that all the innuendo isn't interesting. But, this thread is almost 20 pages, and we still have not gotten the real poop. Chuck alludes that he has information that gets EB off the hook, but won't tell us. Mr Pro won't either. I find that illusiveness was interesting at first, but it has lost it's effectiveness. At this point, I think they could be bluffing.

I guess I should have made myself more clear. The way I see it, and likely most who read this thread. There are four people debating here. Two who are angry and are trying to get actions (or something) taken against Eric Borneman, and two people who are apparently close friends who have heard the story personally and have seen all of the documents in question.

I will call the two (Siyaha and Cracker2) the prosecutors.
and the other two (StevenPRo and Charles1958) the defense.

So, the prosecutors have brought a case forward to the courts without all of the evidence and admit it. The defense, has all of the evidence but is under direct orders form the defendant not to disclose all of it, possibly to protect his superiors and other government figures.
It has been stated that the prosecutors dont have all of the facts and both admit it. Siyaha,bieng a law student of all things, I dont see how you think you can go forth with your case until you can come forward with all of the facts. It looks to me, and likely most who read this so far. The four of you are at a stalemate. YOU WILL NOT CONVINCE EACH OTHER OF YOUR BELIEFS. Apparently the government doesnt feel that this is worth investigating and has LET IT GO. Maybe you should consider this for yourselves unless you can find some documentaion that can prove your case.

Now I will ask you all. Is there anything more that this thread can provide me to better my hobby or my knowlegde of good reef keeping

I think (as do quite a few others) questions about you and your motives are very relevant to this thread. They keep coming up page after page. You have brought half of the information regarding this topic to the table which casts a dark cloud over your stated motive "To protect the corals".
Have you petitioned your local legislature for tougher permit laws regarding collection and research of corals? Have you done anything proactive at all, to change future instances like this or are you simply focused on one incident in the past? Have you spoke with members of your local reef club about htis matter and what your group as a whole could do about this situation? Are you a member of a reef club? Do you have a fish tank at all?
I dont know who you are. As far as I know you could be some crazed stalker who has/had a crush on EB and when you were turned down decided to take it upon yourself to ruin his reputation. It happens all the time.
When I think of these things It really does make me question your credidbility and motives.

As far as I'm concerned. This thread has turned more from the issue at hand and is more focused on your credibility and motives. Frankly, I surprised the site admins havent locked this as it seems to no longer be EB but about who you really are.

You just don't understand the legal system. Often times, all you need is a sniff of evidence to get to discovery. In fact, sometimes people will start a case just for the sake of getting to discovery.

Again... in the legal system, the judge doesn't waste his/her time pondering the motives of the lawyers.

Again you are quick to be elusive in gaining credibility in MY opinion.

I dont know who reef relief is and dont care. YOU entered into my life (in this forum) and presented me with half of the facts and stirred up a controversy. I think it is only right for you to be more clear of your background and future intentions regarding the protection of corals. Until you are willing to do this. I have no Idea if you are a crazed 25 year old stalker or what.

I would like to think that even if she's the offspring of the unholy union of Charles Manson and Anne Coulter, sent by the devil to initiate the Apocalypse and cleanse the earth of all human life through liberal application of hellfire and plague, that these things would not distract from whatever the real merits of this case might be.

Or, in other words, the fact that Elliot Ness hated Al Capone really didn't have any bearing on whether Al Capone was a criminal or not.

I really would like to know what happened in this situation regarding the corals but at this point these things are distracting me. Siyaha's apparent elusivness to directly state her intentions and provide some light back ground about herself regarding the hobby causes me to question her intentions.

I have to go to work now. Im curious to see where this will go as the day progresses.

I sent Reef Relief an email with a link to this post and a link to your website. I am just curious if you have their support, if you do that might ease some of the skepticism regarding your motives.

As a hobbiest I still dont know why I really care about this more than I should care about any number of more pressing and more damaging issues relating to this hobby and the care for our natural resources.
