Ok, so WHO are Cracker, Liquidforce, Vitz?

Is one of them EB?

vitz is a long time hobbyist and long time worker in the fish business, from fresh to salt, retail to wholesale, who currently works in a large wholesalers in socal as a husbandry co-manager

Ultimately this fiasco is just old news... All three parties, Borneman, the Sanctuary, and Reef Savers played equal roles in a well intentioned project gone wrong.

You are mistaken.

Mr. Borneman and Reef Savers are not mandated to protect our natural resources.
Only the Sanctuary is responsible for that. Only the Sanctuary is required to check credentials and stories, and they are the ones responsible for seeing that our natural resources are used for the public good.
Issuing permits, after the fact, for protected corals to go to a facility that's main purpose is to culture corals for the pet industry, is not protecting that natural resource.
Unless the Sanctuary wants to change the rules and allow pet shops to start selling protected corals.

sihaya handed the right people/organizations this information on a silver platter. Information that they did not have or know of prior to this.

None of the parties involved in this situation are unable or unwilling to participate in these discussions. I am presently aware of some background information as to why this may be, but I can not verify or comment on this further. So this thread is now closed due to discussions paring down to conjectures about what transpired and speculative conclusions ... not all of which I'm convinced is responsible or accurate.

Feel free to start new threads about abstract concepts regarding ethics and the law. But I ask that we refrain from further speculation about this specific issue and the parties involved until there is further concrete evidence as to what actually occurred. It seems we all have as much factual (non-speculative, non-commentary) info about this subject as is available. Let people digest the nearly 800 posts here and reason for themselves.
