Thanks guys! Hopefully Ro will get his bits no later then Saturday. Then the tank will be drilled, and ready to go.

Chief I think because of where the crack is, up in the corner with no where else to go, and tank half filled it should be alright. There is nothing putting any pressure on that crack anymore.

DJ, the plain old 20 was about all I could afford at this point $35.

G, thank you.
Matt, tell me about it.LOL I was so glad it must have happened just as I went up.
The animals are all doing well, and I will do a small water change every other day until I get it up and running.

Of all the injections I've gotten in my knees, todays injection is really paining my stupid knee. So all I can do is continue to pray that all will be well just a little longer.;)

Awilda I got a few tanks lying around. I think I have a 29, a 20 and a 10. I could proly drill it as well. Let me know and let me check. Oh and the male leopard wrasse is more colorful than the female. If that tank has been running for months. It should be able to run with just a powerhead, it will run for a while being its established. I can notice from that super rbta.let me know if I can help. Just watch the nitrate levels it will be the only problem running the tank without a protein skimmer.

No Wingo! I didn't get a chance to call the place you told me. It was to late when I got home. That is the price I paid for the tank $35 + $60 to drill + $15 for bulkhead + pipe cause I can't use the old bulkhead from the original 20 because it is glued on.

Reefergonemad if you have a 20 & you can drill it I would greatly appreciate it. Then all I have to do is get the plumbing parts.
Sending pm with my #.

Thanks guys!!:starfish:

I think we all know how it feels, when you just have one hap step after the other with a single tank.;( First the skimmer doesn't skimming, and trying to fix it you almost burn down the house, you fix that then the return line burst, and water into the same outlet, then you try to fix the centering of the light fixture, and the tank gets cracked.:( All because of stupidity I know. Been doing this long enough to know better.:fishhit::eek:

I honestly felt like having a little bit of the reef to go to sleep by, and wake to just was not meant to be.
But when I went to my bedroom last night earlier then usual(MH were still on), depressed with my mind set to breaking it down. It seemed like the corals, and the 3 little fishies were saying "Don't do it". Everyone was so happy! They looked better then they have ever looked. I don't understand this. They're in there with just a little mj, and an air stone. They should be freaking out.;) So I will keep it going even if I just use an overflow box. I'm sure I have one in my addict.lol
I want to thank you all for reading my rantings, and being here when things get tough as well.:grouphug::kiss:

GEEZZ Awilda! When it rains it pours. Look on the bright side. At least your house didn't burn down. It can always be worse. I know you always have a good attitude about things. I'm glad you caught it early. Like others have said I wouldn't wait too long. Can you maybe store some of the animals in your other tanks for the time being?

Good news folks! I took the new 20 to H2O, and got it drilled, and a new bulkhead installed all for the price a wooping $35 bucks. What a difference from $75 to $35.
Today, I will begin painting it, and hopefully I will have it up, and running.
All is well again! Thank you all for your support, understanding, and encouragement.

Up and running! That crack was a blessing in disguised! I changed the background to black, bulkhead was moved up higher, no longer a need for the ugly elbow. Found a tool for the pump on the remora while at the lfs waiting for the tank to be drilled. Small unobtrusive, black, cylindrical, attaches to the pump via a black flexible tube, and works great as a pre skimmer. I am finally going to get some actual skimmate from the remora.
Here's a few pics while still in the dust cloud.lol Will be doing some rearranging once it clears up.;)

Happy to hear the good news A. Looking good!! Did you correct the light bracket before putting it back on? :)

Thanks Kat! Oh yeahhhhhhhhhhhh! I broke off one of the little pegs on each bracket on the opposite sides. You can see it missing on the right one in the pic.:biglaugh: Would have prefer to sand them down, but they were a pita to install onto the fixture. And I wasn't about to take the fixture apart again, nor take the chance of vibrations from sander or jigsaw causing damage to it eirther. Hence the easy solution, knock one peg off on each bracket.lol
