No. Those are not dues. That is called a cover charge. Dues are something you pay as a requirement to belong to an organization. There is only one requirement here and that is to follow the site rules. You don't have to pay anything to belong here if you don't want to.

This may sound stupid,but would this be fairly new to the site friendly..as I have never been to something like this(always wanted to), or don't know anyone here on that level..Im just not sure how it all works...I don't really have anything to offer(frags) that people may want(basic lps/softies)...but am willing to put in for the day off to meet new fellow reefers..and maybe(hopefully) come home with new stuff...

This "swap" is more of an everything event. It costs 25$, has food, drink, speakers, demos, raffles with crazy prices, free frags donated by members, trading btw members, frags for sale from members AND most of all, a ton of national vendors who have pretty much any coral you could desire available for sale. Arguably the best event on this coast. This is not to be confused with the swap on 2/12 which is no vendors or selling but just hanging out and exchanging frags if you want.

Yes there is a set price for vendor tables, but since space is limited by the size of the room we give priority to vendors who currently and actively support the site. It is almost always the circumstance that all spaces are taken by site vendors/sponsors.

yeah if you remember the last swap, i dont think there way room for even ONE more vendor. it was real tight, but still looked presentible.
ill still debating on going... but probably not going to go for the raffles though this year, even though the prizes were amazing!!!... i blew 150 bucks last raffle...won nothing... other people won 2-3-4 things. ohh well. we will see... still alot of fun!
