well, he had a pint of cold beer in one hand, and ordered another for me right away.... i love those aussies.

And, he is an old netsman from way back,,,,, and his son is also well known for his net collection skills.....

I do not believe clove oil should be used for collection. We simply need bonafide net training AS WELL AS training in post harvest handling......

Exactly. Cyanide is cheaper, it is known, and it is effective.
Economically, it is a better alternative to the fishermen who use it.

It is a no-brainer, folks. Clove oil isn't affordable to collectors in the Philippines.

P.S. As much as I would like to tout Clove oil as an alternative, I just don't see it working in the real world.
