  1. New Beginings...

i already have the Dart ... and its plenty for what im gonna use it for unless i make the stand longer, but then it will look funny since its gonna look like i put a 4' tank on a 5' stand, but that will give me more room for the calcium reactor and the phosban reactor as well.
  2. New Beginings...

The reason behind the 6 sides is because i want too fit the biggest sump i can under the stand, and the "cut-out" is for the main pump to fit down below. remember ... My tank is 48" long and my sump is 44" which it leaves me no room for any sort of reactor or other externaly run equipment. And...

been poking around the net for a decent processor .... i've had some encounters with motorola products ( Megasquirt EFi ) and seen this on their site .... http://www.freescale.com/files/shared/doc/selector_guide/SG1006.pdf?tid=tcDRsg was looking at a couple of options that they offer...
  7. DIY aquarium controller

from what i have read is that most probes out there need to be "calibrated" with a calibration solution before they can be used and they put out an electrical signal on the mV scale> all we really have to do is define the input, calibrate and away you go. so we eould mark input 1.... 5 (just an...
  8. How much light?

well .. going to T5 would be even less light because even the HO version only is 54W, where as the VHO's are 110W. and if you dont like MH then you gotta squezze a couple more lights in there. dunno what bulbs you have in there right now. but i would say 4 x 10K VHO's with 2 x HO T5 Actinics...

even 1000Gal is big enough... really!!! the cost of the tank wont be nearly as mucg ass the rest of the stuff needed for the tank !!! Substrate, live rock, lighting, pumps calcium reactor, protein skimmer... even on an DIY basis it still would be big $$$ mixing the water would be a lil bit...
