interesting. havent heard of such an infestation before. tanks go through natural cycles of biological growth and recession. In your case the worms are reproducing at an increased rate. over time the increased rate will deplete what ever food source is available and a recession will occur...

thanks david, so im assuming tube anemones are relativly harmless? i mean they must be capable of stinging there prey or otherwise they wouldnt be nocturnal ie would be photosynthesing during the day. your thoughts? let live/ remove?

howdy, purchased some new lr. plenty of hitch hikers :D . one however is really interesting. it looks like an glass anemone except its completely clear. it has an organge tube in its foot. it only comes out at night and pulls back into its stalk when light is shinned onto it. sorry cant post...

i grab a tooth pick, insert it the wholeway through then place it in a a piece of rubble so that the tooth pick holds it still. if that makes sense?
