  1. corcea clam bleaching slowly, help

I'm running ozone for two reasons. 1) It clear up the water a lot. Got the same effect of running active carbon, but with ozone, I don't have to keep changing the carbon. 2) I added some new fish. I do have a quarantine tank, but it's only 25gal, so doesn't work well when I add 7 lyratail...

Looks like some bubble algea is on the shell. Next time I stick my hand in the water, I'll scrap off the algea off the shell. The clams are on rocks under the sand. :) You're probably right that sometime had happened to it months ago, but what can cause it to bleach slowly? I don't think...

My tank is 180gal reef setup. I only have 4 large blue tangs and 2 clown fish. The ORP probe is hanging in the overflow box. I read that during feeding the ORP reading should drop, but mine stays the same. I'm not too worry about my water quality but more on if the equipment is working...
  6. ORP stays low, help.

I recenty purchased a red sea ozone with controller rated at 100mg max. When I hook up the probe, my tank's ORP measured at 230. I have fed the ozone at 40mg/hr into my skimmer for 2 days now and my ORP reading still stays around 230. Does this sound right? Daniel

  14. Green citron gobies killing my acropora

I just brought a nice size acropora (5" diameter) last week. Two days ago, my two green Citron gobies decide they want to nest in the acropora branches. Today, they have ripped off 50% of the tissue mass from the entire acropora!! Do these gobies require that much space to nest? I have...
