Wally World has 13W PC desklamps that can easily be taken apart as a DIY light. Some folks also use some worklight/booklights (Search on nano-reef.com for bookworm).
6K bulbs can be found at Wally world as well (at least at some of them) and actinic and combos at hellolights and ahsupply.

I'd reconsider using the one way check valves and going to a closed loop instead. While I've never used one in my system, I've heard too many stories of the valves failing during a power outage to trust them.

Looks like you need to add a length of pipe to your drain bulkhead. The pipe would need to extended so that it is above the 'u-tube' exit. The idea is that your 'u-tube' ends should always be submerged.

Hey Jason -
Phoenix area isn't too hot for networking right now. The consulting company I work for has several folks out there doing some stuff - mainly in the VoIP arena with Cisco ICM and addons and some security gigs - but all for one large client. Once that one dries up, pickins look...
For those of you in HB, there's a new store opening up at Gothard between McFadden and Edinger... Reef Collection I believe (right across from GWC and in the same complex as Kathy May's). I don't think they are quite open yet. I passed by the other day and they seemed to have most of the...
You might try wetdryfilter.com. I think they just started manufacturing something similar and they'll do custom builds. Its a bit more than the CPR one, but they can probably modify the design for you pretty easy.

Been there a few times... cool place, but the prices are a bit high - especially on the hardgoods. Live stock looks okay and they have a pretty decent variety of fish but a smaller selection of corals. They do have an awesome tank in the main area... I think its in the several...
You might try contacting some acrylic/glass shops and find out what they'd charge for the raw materials and cutting. Probably save you some big $$$, but then again, no warrenty...

Hey Jason -
I have a small cooler I use for keeping some spare LR for frags and such. If I put the lid on it for even a day or two, it smells like cr*p when I open it up.
I'm thinking that you have something similar going on there...
You might have also had some die off when you took the LR...
Your best bet is probably 13W PC type lights... I think they go about 7 1/2" long including the endcap. You could probably fit two in a 4" width. Not a whole lot of flexibility with those dimensions, but if you do a pendant, it might just work.

Try some of the Walmart desklamp. $9.99 for the desklamp - bulbs are 2700K, so you'll need some replacement.
Here's a link to RC that has pics.
