what reactor media are you using? some media wont dissolve at 7.3ph, its best to get effluent around 6.8ph...as for top off, i use a float switch in my sump and have a powerhead in a nearby FW resovoir...Not the safest thing to do, best to get a doser, but my resevoir is only 10gallons and that...

I have a reading of my RO/DI water as 1 TDS...But is it possible for silicates to be in the water, or would that easily be picked up by the membrane...Just wanting to know because im have a problem with Dino's, and somesaid it might be from my RO water...thanks

I bought some ORA cultured frags (German Blue polpyed monti) about a month ago and they were an inch to begin with....Now they tripled in size and are growing like mad, I could propagate them already if I wanted...Never ever have I seen this good of growth rate from any wild coral Ive gotten...

How do you move a clam without damaging its basal gland. My clam is on a sand bed and it needs to be moved around for a better light location. I want to maked sure I move it properly so as to not damage the basal gland and killing it....thanks

Im setting up a 135gal, and need help with which wavemaker to go with...As far as powerheads and pumps go, its going to be connected to an AquaClear 5000...I dont believe I would need any more current then this pump puts out already....Is it alright to hook up a Wavemaster to only 1 powerhead...
