I have had my setup going know for maybe two months. I just recently had my puffers in there for a while and have transfered them to another tank and have went out and bought a trigger a clown and sand sifting star. I have added a few small peice's of live rock and am now seeing a huge outbreak...

Under gravel Jets. It keeps the fish waste off the bottom. It's nothing more then a few pvc pipes ran under the sand or gravel powered by a power head or pump. Each end of the system sticks out of the sand a little bit and blows a stream of water over the sand bed causing it to be pushed...

Do I have to wait for any reason to get a fish or 2. When I am going to just have a fish only tank? Everything is setup. Sump, powerheads, ugj system, heater, proper temp and salinity, and lighting. Am I forgetting anything. I know I don't have skimmer yet but will have one in less then 3 weeks.

Can fish hear and if so how is there hearing compared to ours? I just got my tank up and running and the 2 maxi 900's, Mag 7 in the sump, and mag 5 running the ugj makes some noise. Will they be alright? will it shorten there lives?

This is the setup I made It will be powered by a mag 9. Hopefully I should be able to push somewhere around 150-190 gph out of each jet.

Thats the thing it's not a filter. where the grey peice is. Is where you puta power head like the mag 7 or 9. It then flows through out the jets and make sure debri and other things like poop never get to sit on the sand floor. I just got done covering it and am waiting for the water to be ready...

thanks Just got done with UGJ and was only able to hook it up to the hose to see how much water it can flow. More then likley I will hook it up to a mag 9 or 12. here is a pic of it before I cover it up with sand and coral.

How many GPH does a hose faucet produce. Ball park would be nice.

AS of now my tank has no water in it. So I'll try it and report how it goes I have plenty of time.
