I had to order a Black cap because it was getting harder and harder to find.. I told Irvin at time he was working there. It took a few weeks because not only did they get it, because he got it from a cheaper distributor. Not only they kept him downstairs. But when they showed me the fish. They asked me if I like him and they was no pressure buying him because if I didn't take him. They said if he's not the size you like its ok we will sell it to someone. The size was perfect and I still have him. I've been buying fish when they first open and they prices went up a little but still the cheapest. All I can say they fish are the healthiest that you can possible get in saltwater. They is always a risk of getting a sick fish. I always had great success with they fish. You know every place might have flaws that you don't like. If you don't like it and except it go somewhere else. Nobody is perfect and people quickly criticize if place has no new fish and ect. I UNDERSTAND about the price listing. I even don't like it but it is what it is and hopeful it can be fixed or we just have to deal with it.

Hey guys prices went up who cares!!!!
Purple are 75 and large one 125 who cares other places 180+
Equisted wrasse 50 not bad
Clown wrasse 150 or you saw Labout's Fairy Wrasse and you got confuse
Edwin and Nelson are trying to get prices fix . Wholesaler are putting prices up so Ralph need to raise his prices or you guys want for him to keep selling the same way he use to sale in mt Vernon so he could close the store !!!!
I want to know what store sale like them ,
Who care what language they talk, is this a democracy state that only one language need to be spoken ,, let me know ,, I probably call JAY Z so he could call OBAMA so he could make a speech ...

Picked up a nice SPS today and a fish. SPS was browned out, but was $20 - should color up nicely - totally fine

Fish was marked at the register and then was changed to almost double the original price - still fine as I was told the guy quoted the wrong price for a Halichores Malanurus (should have checked out quicker In fact it was a Halichoeres Cosmetus and not a Maleanurus - still fine as I get that they can be confused when they are juvi's (female).

It's where the bashing of MR started about this thread while I was at the register where I draw the line.

No matter what store I shop, I do so with a discerning eye - but my mother was right, humans are the only animal that will $h1t where they eat. I hope they realize that doing business is OK and letting the customer know that is OK too, but do it above board and no one will question your integrity.

So I ahve a deli if i change my mind charging you after I make the sandwich it is fine ! ?? with you ! cause let me tell you that i wish there was a forum for mom and pop deli like mine that we get compared to franchise food chain and complain ! and walk out if that would ever happen to any deli!! so the store do have good prices but it is a law to post price and also a nice thing to do so people don't have to post annoying post like these!!

Wreck it? I spend over $100 every time I go. I hype it up to everyone in my area that takes the half hr or more ride there!! I've hooked them up with 10 + people that shop there regularly ! THis isn't about them not having good prices! How would you feel if u bought a fish for $38 and then 10 min later I bought the same one for $25!?as I was standing next to you hearing you ask how much it is LOL. put prices in the tanks will help ALOT end Of story

this isnot putting no one out of business it helps to feed back!! it could be that you haven't received any inconvience yet but it's to show raplh that it should fix this issue!! cause a lot times he undersold stuff there I saw selling a fridmani sudocromis for $10 then he had relize after the person left that was wrong price it's a fish that now he sell for 25 to 30 dollars you get what I'm saying he should pirce the stuff anf that's all!! he will end up going out soon or later making mistkes like these also happend once with red sea pro salt they sold it for $ 55 dollars !!! try to get that price again !! impossible cause he made a mistake!!!!! you don't run business with mistakes like that cause that will drive prices up !! thew way it is happening !!! I have been in business for 31 years!!!! know what I'm saying !!

For the record... Even if a business sells everything at a profit ... They can still lose $... IMO, there is no accountant in the world that could determine if any fish were actually sold below cost... That type of accounting/inventory control would cost more than any LFS could ever make!

accounting is not done by how many fishes died is done by showing him deposit that are greater of what you spend !! i was a witness when he sold the 175 gallon bucket of red sea pro salt for $ 55 !! come on i wanted one too that day but for how long can Ralph service making mistakes like that all i'm trying to say Albano is that I love to shop there and i want the store to be around for long cause he still has best prices even with increase that every one is flaming al i see is that they bought things there in the past way too cheap by staff underselling it !! i go to him every 2 weeks from jersey and never i feel to be expensive even if prices are bit more then the past but way cheaper then anyone in this business
