Salgado, they close at 8:30 so I am going to say yes, the prices will be there tomorrow, while supplies last bc I guarantee you that its only you and I typing on this thread, the rest are already running over there.

Just got back from MR. Had a good variety of fish. Plenty of dwarf angels and plenty of tangs. If you like queen angels has a few that are beautiful. Lots of coral. The frags were nothing that much different from SPS he had. Still a great deal. I hear next week is Australia SPS.

Queen angel were mid size about 6-7 inch and one was 9-10 inches. Saw Rusty angel. Lemonpeel, flame, Potter, Ebli, Tangs purple small and yellow. At least 7 different ones which can't remember which ones. Nice helfrichi fish $65. Had a few of them.

From a conversation, I had with Ralph a week or 2 ago, he mentioned that the problem was an increase in air freight charges! But when other retailers stop by to purchase from him at 'retail' prices, you know that the prices are still very good!
With the recent hurricane in the Philippines, there may be a major shortage of supply from there, that may also affect pricing and availability !

Yea. But when u ask a price on a fish you know damn well don't cost $100+ Not even on the internet and everyone gives u different price there for say a regular blue sided wrasse that's not even $50 anywhere kinda sad. I don't buy fish from anywhere else but sometimes I tell ya that's not cool. Exquisite wrasse. Sold usually $50. Was told $150! Almost every wrasse I was told $150! Like it was a made up price ! Would help if the tanks had prices so you don't have to chase everyone down every min. I hear a different price for the same fish to different customers within the hr I was there Not bashing it's my favorite place. But man I don't like Fishy Biz lol

WOW, A Huge Combination! A "HEAD SHOT & COMPLIMENT" In The Same Conversation. MAXIMUM REEFS Has Been A Hot Topic Lately. Me Personally I Love The Place & I Usually Deal With Edwin & Nelson, Those Two Pretty Much Keep The Business Up And Running. Really Nice & Cool Guys. Even though I'm still upset on Edwin on the sale of the Red Sea Tang I Wanted He's A Great Guy lOl & Nelson He's Really Helpful & Knows A Lot About The Hobby, Nice Guys.

Yep. First and last visit a week ago. As soon as I walked in and saw not a single price on the tanks or a price anywhere I had a funny feeling. First of all having to chase down and ask someone the price of every fish you're interested in is very annoying. 2nd, I experienced the same thing big did...Ask a person the price of a fish and either ask someone else or overhear them telling a customer a different price is bad business. You can try to defend them by saying they don't know prices, but any human being including myself would just tell them I don't know let me find out. That place definitely has a Bronx hustle type feel. If at the very least the difference in prices were $5-$10 it would be tolerable. But when I'm told a sohal tang is $125 and then told by another it's $95 that's crazy. Also was next to a customer who got a large purple tang for $75 so I figured the 1-2 inch ones couldn't be much was told $65. Ask how much for a big one, mind you the bag with the fish is sitting on the counter in front of me they tell me $125?????? Also not sure if I went on an off week but their coral selection /coral tanks were not impressive at all. Maybe it's because Rob hyped it up to the point where I was expecting something . I know the MR loyalist are going to chime in, but I'm being honest. 1st impressions are everything in a business. Because of my experience there I will never go back nor will I ever recommend anyone go there and maybe they don't care maybe they do.

I feel ya. I been going for years ! Usually treated great but lately it's THAT feeling. Owner tells me $20 for a fish I go back for another and the others besides one tells me $50-60. One says $28 other says $38. LOL.
