Why not do the silent auction for just 24 hours? People are just waiting for the last minute (on Sunday) and not placing bids now. This is way to long. If you do it for 24 hours, you will not have to have a minimum bid.

Because he wasnt going to tell what the highest bid was until someone complained. Thats why it was a few days long
