Clownfish Eggs Macro... final update 1/31
Well after 3.5 years my clownfish have started to spawn. Here are a couple of shot on what I believe is day 3. I am not going to try to raise them, I will just let nature take it course.
Taken Nikon D200, nikkor 60mm micro, off camera flash
1/26 @ 11:23PM
1/28 @ 5:00 am
Final update - all the eggs have hatch and nature has run its course. From what I have read clownfish have a tendency to spawn very 2 weeks hopefully I can get more practice with my macro shots.
Thanks everyone for the kind comments.
1/30 5am - 1st batch of eggs released that evening.
1/31 - 6am - half the eggs still remain with male clown smiling
1/31 - 6am - close up of the remaining eggs which were released that evening. Note the curved back area
And here is a full tank shot. The eggs were at the base of the frogspawn coral
