1.5 day of ro/di water into the 200 gallon tank. Can't wait for the water bill.
Looks like i'll have some leftover rocks, with this new tank i want more of an open space for better water movement and my 15 chromis to swim.
FORGOT THAT I HAVE TO ADD SOME EXSISTING ROCKS FROM THE OLD TANK TOO.
Tom if you can, coil the supply line to the RO unit in a bucket and fill it with hot water. Every hour or so change out the cold water for fresh hot water. Can sometimes double your output. Looks AWESOME! CANNOT wait to see it filled.
JUST THREW IN THE ROCKS IN FOR NOW, WILL THE PLAY WITH THEM LATER THIS WEEK. TRYING TO RE-CREATE A PINNACLE DESIGN I SAW WHILE DIVING IN THAILAND. AS WE ALL KNOW - AQUA SCAPING CAN TAKE A WHILE TO FIGURE OUT, AND WHEN WE THINK WE GOT IT LOOKING GOOD..WE RE-DESIGN IT AGAIN A WEEK LATER. :tongue1:
Tank almost filled. Need to remove my skimmer and plumb it into the new tank, another project, another home depot run - while i'm there i should pick up some more base board moulding too. Tie up all the loose ends
