What size unit is good . I hear a lot off good things about ro/di filters, cause it will probably cost a lot of money to by distill water from lfs. I can buy one if the have were you can connect to Sink faucet and put on counter top. Or its no a good idea, any advice opinions will be great.

Where do you live? Do you live in apartment or house? Do you have washing machine in your house/apt?????

The problem with one that goes on sink is that it has to be connected as long as you are making water. So then you have no faucet

I have one from bulk reef supply and works great! I'm in the same boat as you, I have no room under my sink but if you have a countertop right next just sit it on top of there. I never had a issue of it falling over. I bought the adapter from them to and it fits perfectly.

Frankie, definitely do not use tap water. I did, and it took for ever to get rid of all the phosphates that my rocks soaked up from the tap water.

I got my RO/DI from airwaterice.com. I paid somewhere around $150, and it came with everything needed including the TDS meter.

This is what I have:

I have it connected to the cold water supply in my downstairs bathroom. I hung the unit it self on the wall.

Storage container is a Brute can purchased at Home Depot.

Do get a "float valve" so you don't end up flooding your place.;)
