I have a Puratek 100GPD RO/DI System. It makes water in a ratio close to 1:1. It has a booster pump and an auto flush and a TDS meter. I really like it.

Im surprised that no one has brought up the fact that even if we use rodi, and minimize or reuse our waste water else where...how many gallons of dirty salt water are we pouring down our drains every week for water changes...every thing in life is a give and take...and lets dont forget Jimmy did state that all water either waste, tap, used salt water, fire hydrant water does eventually get retreated and reused as our tap water...the cost of energy for that retreatment is a total different issue

Just a side note, I always find it intresting that there is the exact same amount of water on our planet as there was millions of years ago...no more, no less, its just in different stages...mother nature has been recycling water since the begin.
