i swear everything i was in the clear... it was zero or in the color of where it was the lowest... the algea is from the sun my dog runs in and out and most of it gone
You may want to invest in test kits so you can test yourself. Its one of the basics I recommend every beginner to have. Sometimes you just need to test regardless of your work schedule if you want your animals to live, let alone thrive.
From your pix it looks like its very high temperature related or water quality . Do some big water changes and add some new carbon in your sump that might save some of your corals . How stable is temperature in your tank ? do you use RO water ? whats the salnity level ? what kind of lights u run and how long ?
what's your tank temp? what type of lighting and how old are the bulbs? your phosphates might be a lot higher than zero from the looks of all the algae in there...
77 temp it barely moves.
Yes i hav 2 RO things i use. the better one for big changes. and the no so good for top off.
i hav Deep Blue pro solar xtreme.
Blue lights go on at 730 and white lights at 830 then whites go off at 1830 and blue off at 1930.

U got good flow ,Lights look ok , temp is good, so it has to be something with the water . do some water changes and run some carbon see if it gets better
i added carbon the other day.. i hav bout 1 1/2 inch - 2inch of sand bed. i got some sutff online for testing and to help clean it up. i dont hav time tonight to make water so ill hit up petco for the premade water
Water changes, and run some sort of phosphate remover media preferably in a reactor!
Meg, what type of test kits do you have, and what is their expiration date? Some test kits are better then others, and expiration dates do affect the results big time.
Another thing is that some zoa are just plain finicky! My tank has been going through hell these past few months, and the majority of my zoos are ok. The greatest thing mine have been reacting to has been the lack of photosinthesis because of the lights not coming on due to the high temp in the tank. With this horrid summer we've been having my tank has been running upwards of 85 degrees.
I really don't think it is your snails eating the zoas.
