step 1 remove small (3-4 and generally flat) rock from water, step 2 take nori sheet of similar size and place over rock, step 3 wrap a rubber band around it till its secure, step 4 place rock with nori rabberbanded to it back in tank near the rock work, step 5 observe and report :D

break up the nori into small bite size pieces and put them in a cup with fresh water add garlic extract and selcon wait about an hour or two untill the nori is nice and soft and give him small a small amount to see if he will eat it .it always works for me

Urs was probably held in a tank with other tangs that ate nori from the clip. I its a wild caught one that hasn't spent too much time going from sea to tank the it would make sense that it would not go for the nori. I notice that tangs in general train each other onto other foods, for instance my naso helped get my yellow tang get into new feeding styles like eating nori of a rock wrapped in mesh I also fed my naso by hand so this made getting him used to it much fast, and the yellow tang just followed suit. (There is a thread on this, and I'm in the process of post a video it)

*update*

I tried rubberbanding a piece to a small rock, didnt even phase him.
Then i cute a piece into small pieces and put garlic extreme in it, my damsel loved it, tang didnt go for it.

Now i guess im gona try hand feeding it, if this dosnt work i guess i have to wait till i get a new tang so it can train my yellow.

How long did u leave the rock in there?

I never heard of yellow tangs being hand fed....they're a very skiddish fish and don't like anything they aren't used too....IME good luck!

you just have to leave it in there and let him graze. Switch it for a new sheet every 24hrs. He will figure it out.
