Just got my Elos 120xl from santa

Don't unwrap that!!!! Santa made an error. That was supposed to come to my house. see what happens when you don't use a reputable company like UPS or FEDEX. mistakes are mistakes. I guess I'll have to come get it myself...lol

Congrats and welcome to Elos club! GO with dimmable ATI or combo MH and T5's.
If you keep mostly LPS and some SPS then you can try LEDs made by Vertex.

No need for the profilux controller to control the lights, AI's latest beta firmware release does just about the same thing.

Thanks guys, and no, I have no room for two tanks so what ever i got in my 110g is moving into the 120xl as for lights i will upgrade to the 48'' ATI Powermodule 8 bulb and will keep the tank as a mixed reef .
