Nah, someone told me to keep it as is, and people as usual have different thoughts about this. PLUS, the anemone has stayed in place, which means its happy with the flow. If there was little or no flow, it would wander on forever...but I really like what Arati has been telling me.

DO NOT move the rock or the anemone. Anemones have the ability to move as they wish and will move around until they find a spot where they are happiest. Moving them around will only serve to stress them and force them to start moving again anyway. Magnificents are notoriously hard to keep and most advanced reefers even steer clear of them. There are very few success stories with this species.

Everyone had to start at the bottom and nobody expects you to know everything your first month out. You're being defensive when what you need to do is post questions before, not after the fact and be open to some of the advice here. That anemone is clearly bleached and showing signs of stress and probable death. Get it out and either get it back to the store or find someone willing to try and keep it alive in a well established tank. Either way you need to get it out now before it dies and causes your still new tank to crash and you end up losing everything.

There are plenty of people here who are willing to help with any questions you might have but the longer you keep this up that number is going to start shrinking rapidly. Take a step back and stop messing with your tank. Get a good book and start asking questions before you act, or your time in this hobby will be short lived due to constant failure.
