42 watts. 21 watts each. i am ordering lenses from RapidLED tomorrow. I am going to go with 80 degree optics. Probably going to put them in one light, see how it looks/how much light the bottom of the tank gets.
UPDATE: Just received new lenses for these lights. I thought I would document how I changed the optics seeing as some people have been asking how it is done. I got 80 degree optics for one light and 60 degree optics for the other that is shining directly on my crocea clam. Anyways, here is the process I used:
WARNING: I am not responsible if you break your light or void your warranty. I am simply showing you this is how I did it.
By far the hardest part was getting the outer casing separated from the body of the bulb. I used a flathead screwdriver to wedge it out, however be careful, the metal surrounding the bulb will cut your fingers if you're not careful!!
The piece holding the lenses pops off very easily. It is not held in place anymore because I removed the outer casing.
This piece holds the lenses which also pop out pretty easily.
Now simply put the new lenses in and reverse the process to put it back together.
This is what the spotlight effect looked like before I changed the lenses
And after...
I still have another set of 80's if I decide to eliminate the spotlighting completely, I kind of need it on my Crocea.
I hope this helps!
