you should have never started the tank with snk water, should have used or gotten a ro\di before you filled the tank, reason being is if your tap water has phoshates ect it can saturate in the sand and rock and make it hard to get those levels back down as well as the silicate. really suggest a slow successful approach as to a fast get it done and have issue's down the road

Im gonna take out the water again. That isnt goin to stay there for ever. N yes im gonna order a ro/di too.

Look at aquatraders.com the have decent lights for the best prices. They build them a lot better than tthey used to (better ballast,wiring).
