how long it take till the water evaporates? i have a 20g long as my sump last nite i filled the sump up wit water where it marks the water level and this morning i woke up around 10am n the water level went lower from the marked water level. at 10am i had a lil bit of more water to bring it to the level. now that im lookin at my sump the water level is half from where the water level is marked from.

I go through 1-2 gallons a day on my 75g, depending on humidity and temperature.

Well the sump is away from the heater in my kitchen its bout 11 feet away might that b the cause? and my apartment tempenture is 75?.

How much water evaporated? You tend to go through more than you'd think.

Water evaperates every 12 hours from the sump.

Monday 11pm-10am = 12 hours
Tuesday 10am-3pm = 6 hours

My 75 gallon evaps about a gallon a day apartment temp is about 75 degrees. I'm also running mh lighting with a fan blowing across the water surface

It's not really a problem. The evaporation helps keep the tank cool. If you put a cover on the tank, you'd limit your evaporation, but likely overheat the tank. This is why a lot of us have auto top off systems in place.

Yes that is the one it has 3 sediment filters 1 ro membrane and 2 di chambers
