kev, you still work sundays at MA? if so im going to try to stop by some time soon, and maybe you can point me in the right direction for cheap/simple/easy/basic SPS frags. ill give it a try with some new ones. but not til temp is set.

not presently, had to take time off to move into our new house, hopefully come Fall I'll be back there...I am sure Eddie or whoever is working today will be able to recommend something easy for you

I would also lookout for Red Bugs, they definitely cause lack of polyp extension and browning out of sps

also this tank hasnt been set up that long which would be my first look, and what are you using to dip the corals ? do you graph your temp through out the day with a controller ? if not then there is no way of knowing that your temp truelly stays in that range

Well, although this set up is new, it was a switch over from my 46 bow to this and the 46 bow was a year old running. Coral rx is the only dipping product I use. Something maybe better to use? I do not have a controller to monitor temp, but I'm currently looking for a job, so I been keeping a good eye on it all day long seeing I have nothing else to do. Even going back to when I had the 46 bow, any sps frags I had would look great for half a month in that set up as well, then slowly look percentage of opening day by day.

Batt600, the SPS guru. Lol... Five hours for day light cycle. I guess you haven't been to any public aquariums where they've reef tanks.
How about ReefBum's tank, can you remember his light cycle ? Well then, here's a reminder. And don't tell me your LED fixture is more powerful then his Metal Halides.

If you do some reading instead of having your head up harrys ass you and your nyretardsclub. My tank speaks for it self, so go to your club like a good boy and brown noise some more. As for reefbum theres alot he didnt tell you guys .
