pardon me, make that 153 pages on that thread
Bubble King has very nice craftsmanship. The quality of their cnc'ing is the best in the hobby. They use special plastics for flanges and other parts that won't break like acrylic will. The bk's are very nice but the performance has alway been a questionable.

This very true, But to repalce the red dragon pump when it die's will cost 1000.00 + alone. That alone scared me away from selling my deltec for a BK 400 external

P.S. Consumption should alway be a consideration. Keep in mind air cooled vs. water cooled. Cooloing the tank uses energy as well.
Seriously thrown the "conserve energy because it's good for the environment" argument out the window. You run a 210 gallon reef, there's no way to do that and put "conserve energy" in the same sentence. We kid ourselves I think, between the Metal Halides and pumps we use some serious juice. In addition there's the death toll to these animals and impact to their environment our hobby poses.
It is what it is.
That being said your tank will take some serious juice to run it, saving 50watts on a skimmer doesn't make much of a difference. I'd pick whichever skimmer you feel best with and don't worry about an extra 75 watts or so.
