Going to have another hlg 240h-48b to run the 60 white LEDs. There was 12 eln drivers running my LEDs.... Not a very safe setup but it has done well for about a year now. Going to use the hlg drivers instead and use my left over eln drivers to run some red LEDs. Not sure if will also add moonlights to this as of yet. I am using the adruino typhoon microprocessors to run and dim the LEDs.
Here is a pic of my control panel. It's a mess right now but you get the idea.

Read through the build thread, great tank, almost exactly what I'm trying to accomplish, was wondering how big each of those pendants are?

Doing research but haven't figured out how many LED's and pendants I'm going to need on my soon to be 240. Seems to me your concentration of LED's is jsut about what I'm looking for.

Skiwez, thank you. You are going to need more LEDs then what I have for your 240g. Can you pm me your dimensions and type of reef? Mixed or Sps dominate. I can definitely help with your setup.

Mark did you put fuses on each string or only the resistors? I would change that a little by adding 1A fuses to protect the rest of the LEDs, if you lose one string all that current will be added to the other strings and may fry the rest.

Yea I figured that one out the hard way. I have a 1ohm 5 watt resistor and 1 amp fuse on each string. It has been working great for a week. My only problem is the dimming. It just doesn't dim at all. I emailed reefledlights about that and I awaiting a response.

I will also add an updated picture. The layout of the board had to be changed to accommodate the resistors.

Have you checked the voltage coming off the controller? Maybe try 2 AA batteries to the dimming wires to test, 3V should have the lights at around 30%

Controller is fine I tried it with the eln drivers to make sure.
