Q, I thought about it but I don't think it was possible just cause of the way this thing spread and how the coral was trying to grow over the infected areas.

The "fungus" pushed (that's what it looked like) a path anywhere the coral was shade, under branches, etc. it would start of with a tiny spot and slowly push forward. It would create sort of a V shape, with the point in the V being the front of it, and the widest part being the back of it. It was/is super weird.

Sad to report I lost almost everything, except for 2 pieces that seem compeletly and I mean completely unaffected. Those two corals happen to be very near each other, so I'm wondering what contributed to them being alright and the rest crapping out. The rest were spread over the entire tank.

I'm not adding anything to the tank probably until the swap, I'll add another piece in a month just to test the water and see if whatever it is, is still present. If these two corals make it another month untouched, I think it's safe but you never know!

Alright folks, so now I'm in rebuild mode and looking to put a few dollars into the tank to help with stability.

Tank as it is right now:
Tunze 9002 DOC skimmer
MP 10 on Reef Crest mode at about 50%
ATO - 1 gallon jug, dripping slowly into my tank to keep up with evap. Been going on 3 days and things are looking great. 1 gallon lasts about a week.
Dosing B-ionic as needed.

My sand bed right now is about 2inches deep, I'm thinking I should take some of it out slowly over the next few weeks, maybe get down to .25inches, just even for the look. Good idea?

Anything else you guys can think of?
