I thought your condo was unlivable? Did they fixed the boardwalk yet? How did the boat fair the storm?

It's been 2 months so a lot has changed. The condo is fine except for ground floor and basement. Still waiting on construction crews to start. Mold has been an issue. There is no boardwalk to fix. It's gonna be a long while for that. The biggest problem is that the beach is gone and there is no real protection to keep surging water from coming into the streets. This area is still very much trashed! The boats were fine though the storm.

I decided to add a Deep Blue Sea 30 gallon frag tank. I should have it plumbed in and running in a week or so. I'm just waiting for some parts. This with be lit with a 6 bulb ATI sunpower. The stand was originally black but i decided to lighten it up. The deep blue stand is a PITA to paint. It has some kind of plastic laminate. I had to sand it very well and prime to get latex wall paint to adhere. It came out very nice though. The honda generator is my security blanket for this system

That's going to look great. The Honda generator is also a solid choice.

I'll try :happysad: As for the Honda, I lived off that thing for a month with no power. I treated it like my baby and it ran flawlessly. I was kind of pressured into the purchase due to limited supply during the storm but it ended up being a good choice.

Plumbed and filling up. The main tank has cycled already. I have a few SPS in there and they seem to be doing well. I still have to hang the sunpower over the frag tank and conceal/organize all the wires.
I'll post a updated pic in a couple days when everything clears up.

I have been stocking the main tank. There is a mix of maricutured and captive frags this time. I am tired of having the same stuff as other SPS tanks so I will be flipping through a bunch of colonies over the next few months. Not to mention that these colonies are cheaper than designer frags!
The tank is doing very well right now. Corals are growing and coloring up more each day. The tank is already tanking 40ml's of 2 part daily to maintain parameters. I will hang the ATI fixture over the refugium/frag tank this week. I have 7 different macro algaes in the fuge. Once I get the light on this tank I will make more of a display of it. The rock is starting to lose it shade of bright white......can't wait for it to turn purple.

Thanks guys. it's still a very young system, gonna take a while to get that filled in look.

I finally got my fuge/frag tank running with various macros. I hung the ATI fixture over it. I am actually loving the different macros. Very relaxing to watch.

The whole system. Still waiting on my 20k evc halide for the main tank. I have a 14k sunpaq in there now but it is more of a 10k-12k bulb. Not bad color but it needs the blues to balance it out.

Oregon tort that was just about gone 2 weeks ago when I received it. I'm very happy this one made a recovery.

I picked up an eshopps coral viewer for top down shots. I didn't get a chance to get my regular camera out for it but I snapped a few top downs with my iphone. Colors look intense from the top!
