Seriously though, keep the light! Think about it, your wife made a lot of effort to get it for you...use it or you will be in the dog house and may get ugly Christmas sweaters and lead filled tank ornaments from now on!

Back to the jokes...are you just afraid that it may give your coral some color? lol

Phosban and carbon reactors are up and running. Tank is thankfully running smooth . Gonna do parameter test tonite. Cheato is also alot bigger then when i purchased it. The only other thing i hve to do is make the eggcrate taller in case of a power outage and my cheato flows into my return chamber and if the power goes on i will have a problem

Why wouldn't you just drill the fixture. It's two tiny holes. My old one was drilled, once I removed the led strip it looked fine, barely noticeable.

I mounted my led with the stock hardware.

I would agree the holes would be small. I bought 2 brand new Reef Brights which are still in the original packaging. Never opened, and now i might be stuck because i had a Powermodule that i was going to drill them into but i sold it and now i'm waiting on the new Ati Powermodule fixtures which come with Led and i might not need them anymore.
