A few changes have happened. The tank now has halides, and a new larger skimmer downstairs. I think i will start to put some softies in a little later on to try them with my not so reef friendly fish and see how it goes.
Ben things are going slow  never seems to be enough time to do what i want :? I still want to put a larger extra sump on but just cannot cunjure up the time to do it. I have a 7x2.5x2.5 tank ready but it needs stripping and resealing just dont know when i will be able to do it sadly  Or i may build a plywood tank down in the basement i could then go 8ft by whatever. I am very pleased with the ASM G6 skimmer it is a cracker and pulls out some serious gunk. I have started to catch my not so reef friendly fish slowly for when i do start to place some corals in. Plus it is hard work having to clean the tank so often as no clean up crew survived with all the triggers etc. I made a very simple mistake last week while doing a water change tank was around 15 inchs lower than normal when i turned on the big sequence pump downstairs it splashed the Halide/ lamp and duly exploded another expensive lesson earned 8O. My office tank is sold and that is going this week as i am changing offices and have (again) no time for the move, is'nt life hectic  over here anyways
Some good news tho Ben i now have my Green card so no more messing around with immigration thats a weight off my shoulders. Plus i am very excited my parents are flying over this week to stay for a month. Hows things with your projects ben?
things are moving slowly.... i still need to finish the cabinet face of the tank.... then get some small frags to father up in the tank.... i bought a skimmer recently that i am fairly happy with. the output is a little moody. i need to find some good qaulity air valves to decrease the bubble size...
work is good, family is even better.... oh yeah, my dogs have torn up the back yard with all the rain.... need to handle that too.
good to hear that you green card came.... enjoy the visit with family.... talk to ya soon
My tank is being split today after final notice for my upcoming knee replacement. Once all the livestock and rock is sold the equipment and tank etc will be up for grabs. Once i am back on my feet and healthy again i will start something else
The tank is all sold due to my knee replacement surgery. Cant believe how much spare time i now have  Got some chemicals etc left in the for sale section. Thats it i'm done
Ben that is me finished for good i think. I did not get the same feeling and pleasure from my tank over here that i did with the tank back in wales, so thats me done. not complaining tho, just enjoying not being tied to a tank and the now small leccy bills help  But who knows what the future will bring
