A 90 Gallon Zeovit Filtration Adventure Mixed Reef Style

Hi folks I wanted to start a tread on my 90 Gallon tank.

Let tell you the specs on the tank:

Display Tank
90 Gallon Tank by GlassCages (Sapphire Front & Side Panels)

Filtration:
Sump by TriggerSys
Protein Skimmer by Bubble King
Addition Filtration by Zeovit(Basic 4)

Calcium Addition:
Calcium Reactor by Knop
Feed Pump by AquaLifter
Kalk-Reactor by Precision Marine
PH Controller by PinPoint

Circulation:
Return Pump by Danner-Drive Mag7
Closed Loop Pump by Ehim1262
Random Flow Pattern by OceansMotions Squirt
Random Flow Pattern by Wave2k

Lighting:
5 t-5 Reflectors By IceCap
2 Florescent Ballasts By IceCap
MH Dual 250Watt Ballast by Sunlight-Supply

Tank's Goal is to set up a True Mixed Reef. To me a "True Mixed Reef " houses a representive from all the major groups from the reef. So this tank will have soft corals, SPS, LPS, and inverts. I going to try and balance out the tank so that one species don't over run the tank. I get inspiration from GARF style tanks, so I'll use some of their techniques with this tank.

The tank has been running for 4 weeks now, so this is a basic fast foward through the 4 weeks:

Enough Long Talk here are some pictures:

Here are some Pics of the Tank:

The stand is 36" high, I like high stands

Side Panel comes out, this is a reefers dream :)

Canopy

Within the stand I know I'm going to need light, so I install a bulb in the stand

Since the stand and canopy were unfinished, I went down to Home depot and pick up stain, I happen to like pecan cherry, they even make stains with the gloss in the stain; so I went with that one.

I also needed to seal the inside of the stand will a latex sealer.

Kris – I mean more from a bacterial aspect. I like the way they start their tanks. No protein skimming to let the micro-creatures grow, when they establish themselves, then they add the protein skimmer.

Well the first thing I wanted to do is to check if my wave2k unit would fit.

Now I need to start to set up my live rock pillars. So I drilled the rock and fitted ?” PVC rods in the rock for stability<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
