yes that's my tank really. that was taken right after I switched from the 55 to the 120. those poor fish were in 20 gallon rubbermaid bins on the floor for a week.
I fed them but I don't think they ate anything.

when I took the rock out of the bins there was a half inch of crap on the bottom. i had cooked them for a week without knowing it. I should have cooked them for real.
or I really should have bought new rock. oh well.

speaking of rocks, I would like a large flat rock to put in front of the overflow to glue frags to. anybody know someone that could make me one? or happens to have one not being used.

the Anthilia bottom that I wanted to grow now bothers me, but the clowns I have love it. I want to get rid of it, but will have to keep some on a rock for them to play in. I want to place all the caps I have which are starting to grow quickly on the bottom.

I also would like to put some rock in the middle so I can take advantage of the space to grow some more colonies against the overflow box.

I have a few things I might need to find new homes for due to the flow increase.
the rock with the large purple hairy mushrooms and a good sized frog spawn may need to go. I'm having trouble finding them spots where the flow is not bothering them.

PS. For the person whose going to take those purple hairy mushrooms, those things are amazing.

yeah, I would like to keep them, but everywhere I put them in the tank they are getting blown around. I might try moving the flow around, but I don't know if that will work.

I noticed ;)

Inky don't make the mistake I did and put everything in your tank.
Try to come up with an area of the reef you want to emulate and stick to keeping that one kind of coral group. The coral will be much healthier overall IMO. I'd like to start a discussion soon on this topic, looking at recreating small biotopes rather than just throwing a bunch of different coral in our tanks and trying to make it work. This is why I'm thinking of going all sps, that's what I set the tank up for initially. I got side tracked though, and started putting soft coral and lps in my tank, I regret it now.
The soft coral is having a tough time, and my lps are stuck on the sides of the tank out of the majority of flow.

Jonathan,

I'm interested in the purple hairy mushrooms, if they need a new home. Presently, I have mostly softies. Biotypes would require a lot of research, but would be very interesting to recreate. Good luck with the project.
