new coral from north east aquatics

these are two frags I got from some colonies a few of us shared.

this is a great way to spread the coral out in case your tank takes a dive.

split the cost of the coral and have a backup in another tank.

haha.. I also have 2 of those baby that landed somewhere in my tank.. One is growing quickly and the other one remain small.

J, looks like your tank is bouncing back strong, coloring up, polpys extension..

Love those dispar anthias. I brought three a week ago, but I only two now. I think the other didn't make it or got eaten either by my pistol shrimp or starfish.

:( sorry about the fish Tom, I hate when my fish die, I feel like I failed them.

it's interesting to see which coral is coloring up first, it seems the horida sp? has changed back the fastest, the nana's are going slow and the mili's never lost their color. the purple stag was totally brown is now almost all purple again. what's really cool is the the color seems to start at the base and travel up the body of the coral to the tips. a few more weeks and they should be back to normal.

Damn that damsel is scary atleast in the picture. Now thats a close up

he's a perfect fish. he survived TWO blackouts and the deadly QT I set up for the ich. he's a survivor for sure.

and he does not bother any one else, he just hangs out in the caves and comes out for food. I think he's bummed with all the new fish in the tank. he had it to himself, for a while it was just him and the scopas tang.

there's a lot more action, the cool thing is all the fish get along no fighting at all.

the little yellow tail looks like he may be a trouble maker. it's funny he's the size of the big blue damsel when I first got him from petland :shhh:
