There not a whole bunch of information in this announcement, but GHL has teased their customer base with an image of a prototype expansion card for their ProfiLux line of aquariun controllers. Called the PLM-PWC, this new card will allow the controller to wirelessly communicate with the GHL Mitras LX LED fixture, allowing for all of the standard functions and even a few special ones like thunderstorms and maintenance modes. The new card won’t be available until Autumn, but will be a welcome site for Mitras/Profilux users who yearn for that added control and functionality. No pricing has been set forth as of yet, after all, this product is still in the prototype phase.
