Revolutionary method of saving/restoring corals from rising ocean temperatures

For this video, we headed to downtown Miami, Florida to visit Dr. Rivah Winter, the Inventor in Residence and Curator of Aquarium Content & Marine Science at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science. On a personal level, I feel that this video may be the single most important video that I have created this year; this is the latest project that will greatly influence the outcome of coral restoration. It’s not a secret that our oceans are suffering. The constant rise in ocean temperature is causing massive bleaching all over the world and many question if our restoration efforts are futile due to our oceans still being warm. This is where Doctor Winter’s work comes in. She’s creating high light/ high temperature immune super corals to replant back into the wild. With the latest technology at her disposal, she’s been making breakthroughs that will leave an impression and make you look forward to her work being implemented in the field. Sit back, grab some popcorn and your choice of beverage, and prepare to have your mind blown!
