Hi Sorry for the MIA,

Unfortunately, we hit a little snag with the system. The substrate that I was using (against the advice of zeovit) was way too fine. I used a super brite white Carib Sea moonsand. The sand was trapping nutrients which was causing all sorts of problems with trying to get the Zeo biolife in equilibrium. I've since changed the substrate to a 1.5mm aragonite and am slowly culturing the system. Luckily I had no coral casualties but it take hours each day clearing the rock and sand but I think everything is on track again. I'll have more pics after Labor Day and should have a good date for anyone interested in coming by and checking out the system!

Hey, I just wanted to put up some before and after shots of Acros that have gone brown. I put these 6" pieces in last night and I want to chronicle color changes (if any) as my zeo system progresses. They are all healthy (for the most part) with polyps extended. Here they are:

I was gonna mention that the tahitian moon sand or whatever it is called was way to thin, if little flow passes through it, it becomes very hard and thick, i used to have it in a planted tank- so its good for keeping the bad nutrients down in the sand but in a saltwater tank thats bad hah, good luck with those brown acros i can wait till they glow green and purple .

Hello Everyone!

Its been a while but I wanted to update with a few picks of some corals that just came in. There are some really really nice acros. I want to make sure they are all acclimated well so they should be ready in a week or so. I'll post a thread in the marketplace when they are!

I still have quite a lot to learn with the camera but I'm getting better...

Here's how the main tank is coming along
